About:

I’m a Los Angeles born multi-instrumentalist, engineer, arranger, and producer currently based in my hometown.

I grew up in a musical family and began playing percussion, namely drum set, at a young age. When I was twelve, I started studying upright bass in earnest with a charter arts program which I attended throughout high school, and I studied privately with L.A. jazz bassist Evan Conway. Throughout my teen years, I developed facility with further instruments, including guitar, Bodhran, Dumbec, and Tupan.

At nineteen, I decided to try another path and spent six years working in emergency medicine, originally planning to become a nurse. During that time, I continued to nurture my love of music. The college where I completed my AA in Health Science also had a robust music technology program. My dedication to music persisted, and I enrolled in a scholastic studio internship program with the Rattle Room, a studio in Burbank. That internship quickly turned into a private apprenticeship under the guidance of engineer and producer Jaron Luksa, eventually resulting in an engineering position. In that role, I accumulated extensive experience working with a wide variety of genres and engineering techniques.

My commitment and experience led me to develop a diverse portfolio, and ultimately I earned a major scholarship at the California Institute of the Arts, where I studied experimental pop music production under Jake Viator (Stones Throw Records) and John Baffa (T.V. Tray Studios), with a specialization in audio engineering. I graduated in 2022 and have since established my own studio. My blend of technical expertise and creative capability has resulted in numerous collaborations and projects with artists including Labrinth, The Dresden Dolls, Mergui, Barns Courtney, Joseph E-Shine, and Forrest Robinson.

With my passion, experience, and ear for detail, I continue to aid artists in their creative endeavors and deliver projects as a versatile musician.
